If these new groups are part of the Iranian regime, say IRGC, why weren't they considered for targeting already ?
If groups are associated to other sectors of Iran's economy, why are they being targeted now ? Will any sector survive ?

Just like Ukraine, at some point Trump is going to ask for a slice of Iran's oil, gas, and mineral wealth.
There is no US interest at play. He just seeks out every opportunity to enrich himself and his wider family.

Once the world’s biggest (2x the size of Greater London), it drifted north up to 47ºN where warmer waters and seas broke it into smaller bergs, ending up as the world’s largest pool as melt ponds formed on its surface.
