Good news? I think more and more of those who have been politically indifferent are starting to pay more attention; and the more they pay attention, the more they see that Trump is unable/unwilling to fulfill many of the promises he made about improving the lives of most Americans.

But it’s not a shortcoming of intelligence; it’s a result of apoliticism.

And the problem with my statement is that one could cleverly rebut that I am insulting the intelligence of Americans, by implying that Americans cannot distinguish between fact and fiction.

The question is: how does one combat lies about pretty much everything? The reason many Americans believe some/many of Trump's lies is because they hear them often enough.
