While my competitive drive for fighting games has been shelved for now, that wanting to better at them still burns brightly. I picked up SF6 and was playing with a buddy, I was getting washed like a plate but it did feel good learning.

Sure, it is small though. Living a busy life or someone with a disability sure helps with this. I won't be doing it anytime soon, it seems like the benefit doesn't seem worth it for me.
Can someone explain the thought process behind preordering a game that is a digital release only? I get preordering a physical game because a store(s) might not get a lot of copies in, but digital preorder? Scarcity is not an issue with digital copies, or am I missing something?

I got lucky with these two. I had four packs of the current set and two of destined rivals. Idk if they are even viable in a competitive setting, however I'm happy I got them.
It's not new to me, but I've come across a video that showed streamers/gamers breaking controllers/setups when they lose, get scored on, or die in a game. I don't know if it is a hope they go viral, or they have money to burn because gaming is an expensive hobby.
If I'm getting smoked in a fighting game, but managed to pull of a couple of rounds and pull off some things in practice mode, and adjust to the opponent more often, then I'd say that was a successful session. Now to channel that for the next time I play.

Normally I don't use combo trials as a mark of proficiency, however I kind of breezed through Terry's trials. Maybe this was the character I needed to get a hold of MOTW.
Things I didn't expect to play: Wordle. It's a nice diversion from the day to day and having the moment of "Wtf is this word" is kind of nice.
