I spoke with two ICE watchers who lost their Global Entry after brushes with federal agents. Now an internal memo shows Customs and Border Protection is evaluating cases where people's Global Entry could be revoked based on "encounters" with its officers.

from the Oklahoman,
Republicans want utilities to pay landowners $2/ft/year for transmission lines. That's $10,000+ per mile. OG&E has 5,500 miles of transmission lines in OK.
That's $58M a year. OG&E transmission O&M is $170M/year in 2025. 35%.

Your reminder that over 60 years ago, in the NPT, the nuclear powers committed to the "cessation of the nuclear arms race at an early date and to nuclear disarmament".
If France etc need deterrence, why not everyone?
Iran is an evil regime and deserves to fall. But that's not a good argument for launching a war of regime change without Congress and against the will of the American people.
good day to slap the shit out of anyone who contended Trump was a dove whoβd keep us out of pointless wars in the Middle East
Oh for fucks sake.
If Trump can declare war without congressional authorization, then Congress has effectively disbanded itself.
what the fuck friday night
Even for Shai's standards, this is incredible for a first game back in 24 days. 32 points in 25 minutes through three quarters. OKC +17 with SGA on, -20 in 11 minutes without him
OKC trying to own Australia is making me lmfao
And I'm a Mizzou grad too! I have a blood feud with the Brauns
Jokic staying true to his tradition of making a pass that makes me gasp while also infuriating me
As a Thunder fan, even I thought it was bad. Cason was out of control
I think the thing that annoys me the most about Crockett kicking a journalist out of her event and then smearing her reputation and lying about said journalist being sued for defamation is that the people defending her don't seem to even acknowledge what happened. Stan culture at its finest.
"I don't like non-laudatory stories about candidates I like"
Yes, just asking questions, except Crockett is on video denying it happened and claiming Elaine lost a defamation suit
It's a bad look for Crockett. If a reporter writes a story about you and you don't like it, unless there are actual factual errors, you deal with it. That's what comes with the office. You don't like it? Get out of politics.
I was a reporter for 14 years and throwing out a reporter from a campaign event because you don't like their articles but can't dispute the facts of their stories is Trumpian as hell and a terrible look for Crockett and her supporters defending this.
But kicking a legit, credentialed reporter out AFTER the event, to the point where they escorted her with armed guards to the edge of a road ISN'T a fit of pique??? Retired journalist here. She was doing her job and they singled her out because Crockett 'didn't like her'. Sound at all familiar?
If you throw a reporter out and then make false accusations about her, the reporter is part of the story.
The people mad about this are reaching MAGA-like levels of denial
Typically when the heavily armed state militias shoot at each other, we regard that as a bad sign, I thought.

A defense official said the Pentagonβs technology chief whittled the debate down to a life-and-death nuclear scenario at a meeting last month: If an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched at the United States, could the military use Anthropicβs Claude AI system to help shoot it down?
It's not nuclear vaporization - it's annihilation. And honestly? You'll love a fresh start.

Wow: the President of Columbia University is *directly refuting* the Department of Homeland Securityβs claims.
DHS told us that agents βverbally identified themselvesβ & wore badges.
βThey did NOT and would not identify themselves as NYPD.β
Shipman here says agents pretended to be police:
i dont know if its always been like this but among the elites theres just no sense of responsibility to be good stewards of the society thats given them everything
if my journalism company got bought by a government stooge i would be planning my exit. people say "not everyone can quit," but i never think that far ahead and i've got a long, vague interest in stealth camping.
