I use git, and using it can be hit and miss from time to time. There is a python package available called `git-changelog` and another called `git-cliff` (I like this one better - git-cliff.org ) that can help streamline change logs for public consumption.
For any community managers out there: I am curious, do you have/utilize a dedicated site/blog depicting your past work among work experience and history? If so, has it been beneficial when job searching?

While not an ASOS by any means, the only things that come to mind that give near-real-time/real-time values are personal weather stations with rapid polling rates.

Earthquakes are a fairly neat, but generally destructive phenomena. This morning, at 2:22 and 2:31 AM, #Oklahoma had two #earthquakes. Both 3.6 quakes were received on my seismo in the Kansas City area about a 1m20s later. Not human felt, but definitely "feelable" by instrumentation!
Oh! Time to dust off that good ol' resume. 😅
Am aware it's a remote chance, but it feels a bit off-putting in the event that this could transpire. Thus, requiring both a DNS record AND a web server verification file might be the better and more secure option and not one or the other.
I'm more or less wondering if their DNS verification process will proactively utilize DNSSEC to further verify the DNS record. When I setup my domain, it only seemed to check if the record existed, without doing any in-depth DNSSEC checks to verify.
I quite enjoy the custom domain handles. Granted, there's the potential for abuse by bad-actors abusing the custom handle domain system to impersonate well known companies/entities. What's the plan with that when that time arrives?

If you can nudge whoever it is at NOAA... get them to come over to BlueSky. I can see those custom handles now @kansascity.weather.gov, @chicago.weather.gov, @weather.gov... oh the possibilities are endless.

COVID wasn't fun to deal with when I got it a couple years back. It was a proper ass-kicker stuck in bed week. 😵💫
The metallic smells and tastes well after the fact was also quite annoying. That persisted for about two weeks after COVID then faded quickly.

Hey @bsky.app when setting the advanced moderation settings at @moderation.bsky.app - could an example or some sort of demo banner be shown somewhere on the page? It would be beneficial to know what that looks like on the varying levels of flagged content.

Not a clue if I even should have bothered blurring out that record name. People with enough know-how can use dig (or any dns-tool really) to get that value. 😀

The fact you can change your handle to a domain name on BlueSky is amazing. I'm not sure how the federated system functions, foreign & new to me... but seeing this sort of stuff will be great to determine who is and is not affiliated with various entities.

I am seeing some folks with familiar names making their way over to #bluesky from other platforms. Since I've joined, I've been more of a lurker rather than anything. The app and platform has come a long way, and shows promise. 👍
So I closed my Twitter/X account this week. I don't like the direction that platform has been going lately. Paywalling previously free-to-use tools was the final nail in the head for me.
We have NWS Podunk... now we need the rest of the NWS to come along. 😁
