The problem is that many people use Generative AI because they *don't* want to put a lot if work in.

Can't believe it took this long to add ๐
There is a middle ground, I believe, between UX and DX. Amp (ampcode.com) does the โdo what I mean, not what I sayโ kind of approach and the multi-provider sub-agent approach behind the scenes by โaskingโ named agents to resolve problems.
Itโs a good experience all around, I'd say. Give it a shot.
We just published a new blog post on the state of search and the critical need for open index access. The dawn of a healthier, user-centric web is possible, but it requires structural change.

Claude Code in a terminal demonstrating that the Deno LSP server catches and warns about linter issues now!
I love that LSP servers work with Claude Code now! There were some bugs early on, but now it lints as it goes! #deno #lsp #claude
Holy crap Tailwind CSS had to layoff 75% of its engineers because of AI? When LLMs are used instead of documentation sites, you can't push your paid add-ons any more. Result: โจpoofโจ your revenues are gone.
This is a blow for sustainable OSS library and tools. What to do instead?
JavaScript trademark update:
- Oracle requested (and we agreed to) a 60-day extension in the cancellation case ttabvue.uspto.gov/ttabvue/v?pn...
- Weโre deep in discovery, producing extensive evidence that โJavaScriptโ is used generically across the industry and does not refer to Oracle products.
๐ love this shit man. you have some good ideas. How you think about things usually pulls me into a very different headspace and thatโs a good thing!

It's done. I can't believe it's finally done. I've been working on this in mostly secret for so long, and I'm so excited to share it with y'all!
Deno v2.6.2 will ship with a major improvement to the debugger - Web workers, `node:worker_threads` and stopping in any test file will now be supported!
This will work in both VS Code and Chrome DevTools.

Here's a concise alt text version: "Terminal output showing 3 hookify rules created: verify-paths-before-documenting (file/block, triggers on creating MDX/MD files with code examples), check-mdx-frontmatter (file/block, triggers on MDX files missing title frontmatter), and no-fabricated-content (stop/block, triggers on every stop attempt for documentation accuracy verification). Rules are active immediately with no restart needed."
Wow, hookify is amazing. A plugin that analyzes your conversation for things that went wrong and plans Claude Code hooks to prevent these things from happening again in the future.
