Every few minutes a pre-recorded announcement plays over the PA system to politely remind us that we should refrain from bringing firearms through the security checkpoint. A checkpoint which is, at this point, about 600 meters behind us.
For the record, it's 7AM now. So we're scheduled to board 70 minutes in the future and then take off 30 minutes in the past
