Girar o no girar: esa es la cuestión (en español). Cómo en TomTom se usa Machine Learning para predecir si un giro está permitido, determinando, por ejemplo, si si se puede girar a la izquierda en una avenida o continuar recto después de una salida de autopista, mejorando así la creación de rutas haciéndolas más rápidas y seguras. PyData Madrid returns in September after the summer break to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and whatever else comes up! This month the event will take place at The Valley (13 Arapiles st), who generously provides us with a venue. This time, we are excited to present these two talks: Celia López (19:15-19:45), Customer Success Engineer at Plotly, will give an introduction to web scraping to obtain data from Goodreads (in Spanis). Óscar Llorente (20:00-20:30), Senior Data Scientist at Ericsson, will talk about how to use Bayesian Neural Networks to calculate uncertainty estimations (in Spanish). After the meeting, we will stay for networking in the facilities within the same space. General recommendations: Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome! Apply the "Pac-man rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join. If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! 💶 Del click al crédito: lo que no ves y acelera tu código Python con Rust PyData Madrid vuelve en junio para un último evento antes de las vacaciones de verano para hablar de Python, Datos, Visualización, Inteligencia Artificial, ¡Y lo que surja! Este mes el evento se realizará en las oficias del Grupo WiZink (calle Ulises 16-18), que generosamente nos ceden el espacio. Tendremos el placer de contar con dos charlas: Irene Casas Torres (19:15-19:45), Lead Data Scientist en Aplázame, contará todo lo que ocurre desde que un cliente solicita un crédito en la plataforma y como utilizan Python y machine learning durante ese proceso (en español). Juan Luis Cano Rodríguez (20:00-20:30), Product Manager en QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, nos hablará sobre como acelerar código Python apoyándose en el lenguaje Rust (en español). Después de la reunión, nos quedaremos haciendo networking en las oficinas. Recomendaciones generales: ¿Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? ¿Sabes poco y quieres saber más? ¡En ambos casos, te damos la bienvenida!
