7yo learned a new skill today and she's so proud of herself.
She picked out a painting for her room at the Flower Show, and today she learned how to put it in the frame she chose. All by herself!

Oh gosh yes. So frustrating!
The laptop I use is older than the kids, but it was a gaming laptop and the most intensive thing I use it for these days is Chrome, so it's still going strong.
That said, I've been having trouble finding a version of php I can install on it for server shenanigans.
I've been wanting to buy a new Windows laptop for awhile but there's no way I'm using any of the operating systems they have on offer right now so I guess I'll just keep using this one.
They keep it up I will absolutely have to re-learn Linux, but I'd rather spend that time on other things.

It's so good.
The big reveal of the Nora's religion and Aloy's origins will always be one of my top unforgettable video game moments.
Plus, hunting mechanical dinosaurs with a bow and arrow is just downright fun.
The kids play more than I do these days, but I introduced them to Horizon: Zero Dawn this weekend and they're hooked, so I'll get to relive that storyline vicariously through them and I'm thrilled.
That's one of those games that I wish I could play for the first time again.
This weekend was busy, between a major cleaning project of the kids' room plus the Philadelphia Flower Show, but I did poke the forum a bit.

Peaches has always been a snuggler, and even as a kitten her play was more subdued. (In hindsight, maybe this is because of her joint condition.)
