Did you know that all the generators on the power grid are spinning in sync with each other? The grid has a heartbeat and each and every machine connected to it must follow the rhythm.
This includes the machines in your home! Your buzzing fridge compressor is beating in time with the same heart.

I’m not in a very charitable mood with them either, to tell the truth.
Due to this idiotic statement, by a person who has proven his inability to distinguish truth from online propaganda, I just donated to Wikipedia. Please do the same.

Am I the only one who thinks “secret admirer” is a weird way to spell “creepy stalker”?
My friend, it’s clear you love Synfony, and that’s totally fine. It’s just a real bad look for a software engineer to not understand when various tools are useful. It’s our job to understand our tools, and when the balance of value tells us to use them.
I wish you luck in your career! 😄
Laravel is built on top of Symfony, removing lots of boiler plate. We could build it ourselves, but we don’t want to.
Each tool exists because it has value for those who use it. This is like Mac vs Linux. They do the same thing, but I don’t have the time or patience to jack with Linux all day.
It is a poor craftsman who blames their tools, or doesn’t understand when to use which tools.
If performance was the requirement, PHP may not be the best choice. But it’s easy to develop for. Symfony is a set of tools built on top that we could surely build ourselves. But we don’t want to.
The random follows just don’t stop.
Hello Bluesky. Nothing to say, just trying out social media again for the first time in a decade.
Why is there all this follow back nonsense?
A follow tells the algorithm find stuff for you, and gives you a way to curate a specific feed independent of the algorithm. The only up side is “number go up, brrrr”.
What does a follower even mean if that person doesn’t actually care about your skeets?
My previous wallet of 3ish years. A bit of patina but still as serviceable as the day I made it.
I made some wallets over the weekend. The red accented one has a couple (what I consider) significant imperfections (only one visible in the image), so I’m replacing my current wallet with it since I like the color scheme (the closed one is the same color scheme though).
I missed out on the time when twitter wasn’t trash way back in the day. Sounds like this might be the next best thing.
