I agree, but How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb is also a great post-Pop album.

I like your rather unconventional favourites! Mine is Please, Do You Feel Loved, and Last Night on Earth, but the whole record is fantastic.

Pop had the most singles from a U2 record (6), while fan favorites Gone and Do You Feel Loved? were also considered.
Often underrated between giants, Achtung Baby, The Joshua Tree and Zooropa, it is one of my favorite U2 albums and one of the best concert tours (PopMart) I have attended.

The Lone Wolf, and it was my soundtrack when playing Lone Wolf game books as a high school kid!

My favourites are If I Ever Lose My Faith in You, Fields of Gold, Shape of My Heart, Everybody Laughed But You/ January Stars, Seven Days, Something the Boy Said and the album version of It's Probably Me.

One of my favorite albums of all time released on this day: Ten Summoner's Tales by Sting. It is also nostalgic of playing Joe Dever's fantasy game books, Lone Wolf.

It's a double special day for Tears for Fears. 4 decades apart, but 2 of their best albums. Packed with some of the greatest singles and album tracks. My top favourites are Rivers of Mercy and the underrated, mostly instrumental, Listen.

A masterful and important single and album were released on this day. The single One by U2 may need no introduction, but if you don't know VAST, your discovery is my pleasure and honor. The album Nude also features one of my favorite songs of all time, Don' Take Your Love Away from me. #vast #u2

I don't usually cite Depeche Mode from the pre-82 period, but the B-side of Dreaming of Me (released today in '81), namely Ice Machine, is one of my favourites.

It has also been covered brilliantly by Röyksopp, with the equally brilliant Susanne Sundfør.

Great music often has a way of growing on you, isn't it? I love this album!

Excellent album and one of the albums that makes 1991 one of my favourite years in music. Great singles and fan favourites: Texarkana, Near Wild Heaven, the masterpiece Losing My Religion, Radio Song etc.

The hit of the century about unrequited love.

Fun Fact: The video was directed by Tarsem Singh, who directed The Cell and numerous other music videos and films, his fingerprint always evident.
