I've been getting onto digimon myself and it's been quite fun. They do struggle with a consistent identity with their video games but there's at least some variety in genre. Just as long as you understand it is very different from pokemon, trying to compare the two is a fool's errand imo

I was hoping to see Switch Axe this time but got met with the worst outcome

I played the demo and saw there were no new weapon types and they in fact replaced Sword & Shield in favour of long sword(which is criminal). So it's something I won't be playing until it's cheap sadly 😔

I'm not trying to argue about anything and if I didn't care I would've kept scrolling. I haven't even disagreed with anything you said, all I did was offer my own perspective here, what's wrong with that?

Nintendo doesn't care because they print money and the youtubers don't care because it gets them attention and therefore money. Just enjoy your experience with the console and try not to let unreasonable opinions influence your enjoyment the best you can.

It's as warrented as it was with PS5. Youtube made everyone a critic and a news anchor at the same time. Loudest opinion wins and parrots parrot. And since Switch 2 is the newest console it's the newest thing to have an opinion on. Switch 2 isn't worth defending and it's two fold

There was a meme about PS5 having no games that persists today. The conditions were the same as Nintendo's. Microsoft has given up the console race and allows most if not all of their games to be played on PC as well so people don't care about it. People care about Nintendo, that's why they complain

People don't count ports or re-releases or Switch online virtual console. They are talking about releases that the Switch 2 has that is new and is only available on the Switch 2 exclusively. If it's on Switch 1 with a "Switch 2 version" it doesn't count either

They spelled artist wrong

The thing about this is pokemon games typically have a bunch of different environments, Hoenn and Alola had a heavy focus on the ocean but the rest have as much ocean as they do mountain or forest or desert etc. I agree it'd be cool to have a nordic region but there will be a desert and an ocean too
