Succession only worked for me because nothing good happens to main characters. It feels like a particularly ruthless king watching his wastrel heirs crumble under the slightest pressure and him realizing everything he worked for dies with him.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.
