Apparently today was National Pizza Day!

This morning likely marked the last single digit temperatures that we'll have, for a long time!

Congratulations to Marist graduate, Jason Myers, and his team the Seattle Seahawks on winning Super Bowl LX!

As of today, we only have the last 46% of winter ahead of us.

We've gotten through most of it so far!

Also, thanks to the gentleman who stopped before the police arrived, to see how *I* was doing, in the dark, in the middle of the road.

With these temperatures, it's even more important to look out for each other, and help when we can.

Huge thanks to the two Town of Poughkeepsie police officers who were incredibly helpful in the rescue of a cat, that I discovered collapsed in the middle of a long stretch of road last night. It's wonderful to witness that sort of compassion.

Fun Fact: Statistically, there's a direct correlation between those who say they like snow, and those who aren't shoveling so much of it.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire Hudson Valley, and surrounding area. Most areas can expect 12–18" of snow, with some spots possibly reaching up to 2'. Snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour. A State of Emergency has been declared.

Happy 100th Birthday to Dick Van Dyke! As you may know, The Dick Van Dyke Show was set in Westchester County, and featured an episode that took place in the Catskills! (Although, it was filmed in California.)

We've *already* experienced our earliest sunset of the year! The sun will now be setting later every day, into June of next year.
