Good catch, fixed, thanks to you!

The exception that proves the rule! Will update, thanks!
I called that "a preposterous, childish (and almost certainly illegal) overreactionβ in my preceding post:

Boy, I sure hope that doesnβt itch like hell, nonstop, all day and night.
And the other possibility is that the speed-bump MacBooks (Pro and Air) and get announced on Newsroom tomorrow, and Apple saves the all-new lower-priced model for introduction Wednesday morning.
I lost a full paragraph of text, and no combination of Undo or Redo could get it back. Shameful.
I was writing some entries yesterday covering last week, and got burned, bad, by the buggy Undo stack in Journal on Mac. Itβs just as buggy as on iOS, but on the Mac I expected it to work.
I donβt think base iPads are coming, given that they werenβt announced today alongside M4 iPad Air. Maybe new MacBooks get announced tomorrow and all the news is out for 24 hours by the time of Wednesdayβs media βexperienceβ?
I see all the same things on iOS too. I donβt think the Mac version is any worse, and alas, no better. (Good contrast is with Apple Notes, where the Mac app is clearly better at many things, like formatting text, and formatting tables, than the iOS versions.)
You can just say things.
Iβve poked at it on my Tahoe test machine. Definitely has that SwiftUI smell. What specific things have you noticed?
i'm glad apple music makes it clear i'm only dragging ONE (1) sidebar item around. imagine how confusing it would be without that red badge!! <β SARCASM
CBS, Fox, the Washington Post, and Twitter are all owned by Trump-loving billionaires and soon CNN will be too. Here's why American media has a liberal bias problem.
I will, soon, I promise.
Thereβs a reason why Dr. Who never wastes time looking for a new device to replace his sonic screwdriver.
But basically, I actually prefer most of the UI changes in iOS 26. I loathe every change in MacOS 26, and none of Tahoeβs new features particularly call to me.
I discuss the distinction here in my annual Apple Report Card:

As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac El Dorado.
I know Marco Arment has put a lot of work into the Apple Watch Overcast app, but I canβt vouch for it personally, because I tend only to listen via the Overcast iPhone app. But it might be worth a try?
i've decided not to listen to the audio of a teacher reporting a kindergartender because frankly I don't want to become the person that that event would turn me into. but one thing I hope we are collectively coming to grips with is what it meant that we have lived among such people this whole time
It's colder in Minnesota, but the wind is gusting in Cupertino.

getting feds to say shit like this on camera with their face exposed is NUTS -- you can not reform this agency, everyone involved must go, there is no practical way to root out all of these guys
"Fascist" and "Nazi" weren't slurs applied to the Italians and Germans by their political or military opponents. That's what they called themselves. This madness will not end until we make the names Trump's regime calls themselves universally acknowledged slurs.

This is the mainstream position! Itβs just our deluded Supreme Court that thinks it must pretend to look into George Washingtonβs soul before saying the Second Amendment means whatever they think it should mean
On Saturday, @theverge.com's creative director @kristenradtke.bsky.social carefully watched a video of a shooting in Minneapolis, twice. Hours later, she found out that the man who was killed was her childhood best friend. www.theverge.com/policy/86856...
And now a word from measles
Yeah basically everything was so bad I canβt remember anything specific.
βThe brave men and women of ICE and the U.S. Border Patrol are doing their best to carry out these executions in a safe and professional manner,β said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem
