I just finished reading the first issue of @apwot.bsky.social

I've never seen a magazine of such high quality, both in terms of content and design. The articles are super interesting and the layout is Wow!

I guess that makes sense, I suppose the 10 years since the kickstarter is more of a personal milestone for when work on APWOT truly "began" but the issue released when it did and that's a firmer starting point.

Help me solve a dilemma. 🤔

What should we treat as the 10 year anniversary of APWOT?

2014 🌱 When I made the first zine
2016 💸 The first kickstarter for issue 1
2018 📕 When issue 1 was published

Printed sheets coming out, soon to be bound into new copies of issue 4. 📚

This machine feeds the paper sheets in one at a time. The knobbly pipe thing is actually blowing air at the side of the pile, which allows the sheets to separate and stops multiple of them getting in at once and jamming the printer.

Let’s walk down the printing press, it’s huge!

You can actually see how the C M Y and K ink rollers apply the colours in layers, one at a time. 🖨️
