So I took a couple of hours yesterday and updated the website, made it a little more usable and updated the routes with new changes. next is to update the app it's self www.cbtransit.com/en

I just happened to renew my iOS developer sub this year and i looked at the analytics. this app still gets roughly 30 downloads a month! which is wild to me and makes me feel just a little bad for not maintaining it. let alone not having anything for android users.

So I spent like a weekend manually converting the transit schedules in to JSON, put a wrapper around that and pushed it out. I didn't make any other changes, and its been in status for the last 10 years. apps.apple.com/gb/app/cb-tr...

And the way you have to read the transit schedule, WHICH HAS NOT CHANGED TO THIS DAY, is going to the cbrm website, downloading a PDF and then trying to match your location to the time of day. Just an awful experience

One of my only iOS apps I have ever created is called cbtransit. It is a transit application for the Cape Breton Regional Municipality aka CBRM which includes Sydney Glace Bay and New Waterford. I made it for myself, I was a big transit user at the time...
