I gave up on GoogleAnalytics after they sunset UA to GA4
They forced an objectively a worse product that lacked features the other one had and made years of development in their ecosystem useless.
Now I'm doing radical thing where I don't do any analytics and rely on real customer communication

In my experience, getting stuff added pays dividends where in addition to personally using the feature it’s nice to see other people use & improve upon it.
Can be hard to justify the time investment sometimes but you probably won’t regret it.

OS Level audio drivers may give you access to sample-rates above what your native hardware can handle. It provides this via re-sampling.
Basically getting cheeky and going over what your native hardware supports is a performance penalty.
Significantly lower than what I expected 🤯
Doesn't even take into account:
➡️ IPC protobuff overhead
➡️ Additional post-processing
➡️ Native system quirks
➡️ Resampling
And that assumes you have a real 96000 Hz capability on the device (most don't).
