Glad to see you havenโt given up on digital comics! Is this an entirely new venture or what comes after Omnibus for the team? In any event, Iโll keep an eye out ๐
Whatโs not so great and could prove problematic is that those communities are also in gated VC funded apps. Not like a forum someone is running on their own server which is much harder to shut down. While a discord server with years of history could go in seconds if they decide so.
Itโs gotten so bad that I have pretty much 100% retreated to smaller communities for discussions and go on social media to doomscroll which I m trying to cut down. Social media just doesnโt seem worth it anymore. This app is way better still, but who knows how long that will last.
I started listening to Kaiju Preservation Society by @scalzi.com today and it made me go on a super long walk in the heat just to keep listening. 1/3 of the way itโs a lot of fun, has a bunch of interesting twists and is very self aware. Absolutely loving it! Bonus: Wil Wheaton is narrating.
