That’s completely fair. I just have so many foul memories of winter in Michigan as a kid that I’m sitting on the back porch with parker tonight, gazing at the blooming dandelions and redbuds, and just luxuriating in it. Best of all, in six months, autumn starts, and that’s even BETTER.
I only look at LinkedIn when forced to, but every time I do I wonder what kind of a world we'd live in if you didn't have to be so fucking broken to survive most white collar jobs. There are death cults with less toxic positivity.

A creep in local fandom was obsessed with doing fannish mashup plays, and I ultimately wrote a column in “Sci-Fi Universe“ about how angry he got when I noted a decided lack of Star Trek/The Young Ones mashups. (“Open uuuuup! It’s the Boooooorg!”) Sadly, he died before he could see this.
