Shiroha route done. The last 10 seconds were absolute cinema and one of the funniest conclusions to a Key route. I liked this one!! It got me more interested after Umi was a bit whatever for me. Something about it felt a little lacking compared to other Key routes but it was solid!!

I think you're brave for this I always have to go back and correct things to be american

I do too, I will always say something like "spelt" instead of "spelled" but it's a little distracting when it's a written work and it doesn't seem to make up its mind

It's generally pretty solid it just really needed quality assurance, it has a lot of typos and switches between American and British English constantly

I'm hoping I remember this to ask later because I'm curious

I will be keeping this in mind when I get to it !! Although I think I wanna reread Higurashi in general first it's been a super long time that some smaller parts have gotten hazier (I blur arcs together in my mind a lot)

I think there's a bit of merit in not liking the gore aspect, especially since it wasn't Ryuukishi's intentions. It can be pretty immersion breaking and overly silly but if that's the one thing that gatekeeps you from being willing to give the writing an actual shot then idk what to tell you
