Good game but the lack of color really messed with my sense of direction. If it had color and a map it honestly stands fine on its own it's pretty solid and fun.

Silent Hill F was very good but I think it's definitely written to be much more digestible for a mainstream audience compared to other Ryuukishi works so I find it really funny that a lot of people don't like it for being too confusing still

X2 removing the stages being altered based on the order you play them in is the biggest sin in gaming that no one cares about, why would they remove such a unique gimmick

as someone currently obsessed with pokopia and clannad this makes my heart so happy

I love Mega Man X but I think it's very funny how you play the first game and go "God this is so peak I can't wait to see the future games master this!!" and each game is progressively worse

Pretty much yeah, as the story goes on it does become a lot more tactful but the beginning can be rough if Umineko isn't your first VN ever. I ended up coming out slightly preferring it over Higu but it's a lot rougher than it for sure, it's much more passionately driven than carefully crafted

By rough and messy I don't necessarily mean it's incomprehensible but rather it had a habit of pretending to be incomprehensible over very simplistic things

It's very rough, messy, and jarring. It's great on a reread with hindsight but coming off Episode 1 it feels uncoordinated. I considered dropping after Ep2 because it got too silly with it but continued anyway and thoroughly enjoyed the rest

Most people dislike Episode 2 at first so you're not alone
