Biggest reason I'll decline an invite: "There's nothing there that I can eat or drink."
Huge impact on my work/status as "influencer/media" in Vancouver. I'm also vegetarian. This town hosts a LOT of pairing events, meat/seafood forward menu launches. I stopped going. But I don't mind really.
Typo, restaurants warn* me. I mean, they could warm me? Those soft fleece blankets they have on patios sometimes...
