Not sure if it’s comparable, but we own a duplex where the plot is “ideally divided“ between the two units. The deed office and our banks find it totally legit.

We may be low-wage employers in food service, but we know what's legal and what's right and we don't do shit like this.
Exclusive BlueSky content: THE HEIDSCHNUCKEN BABY VIDEO
We went on a walk through the Heide yesterday and THE HEIDSCHNUCKEN BABIES WERE OUTSIDE!
We do that too. We also have a noticeable shift in sales from afternoon to evening.

It’s helpful (and fun) to have a topic you are interested in and want to understand. When I was learning German, I wanted to understand the nightly TV news.
Im Norden geht auch "Schietwetter".
I've become adept at googling active ingredients in US OTC meds and finding German equivalents. Here's a list of German meds with pseudoephedrine (Sudafed). www.apotheken-umschau.de/medikamente/...
We had that funeral announcements we sent in November being delivered in February. Turns out you have to put air mail stickers on the envelopes, even though air mail is included in the normal postage.
They can speed skate on the canals, but they aren’t wide enough for hockey. And the Dutch are too cheap to build indoor rinks.
Germany has since replaced the Familienbuch with the Eheregister. But our Familienbuch was hilarious. “The family name is Hanson, but the wife’s name under US law is Petersen.” 😜
My wife kept her name when we married in the US. That caused havoc when we moved to Germany, but we put a note in the Familienbuch that set it straight. Then when our son was born she took a hyphenated double name. So we still have different last names, causing confusion beyond end. 😃

We’re watching the Winter Olympics the German way, only watching events that could have some military application. So no figure skating, unless it’s a cover for spies.
I’ve always loved Lindsey Vonn, fellow Minnesotan who speaks German like a native (Austrian). Her thoughts on her catastrophic fall at the Olympics are inspiring. “I tried. I dreamt. I jumped.” www.instagram.com/p/DUjW2r8…

This morning my wife played me "When I'm 64", but the Udo Lindenberg version, which is a bit harder.

Our restaurants decided to hold separate year-end parties, so we have 4 parties to attend in the next 15 days. The first was tonight. Strategically all are before the start of Ramadan.
Funny how 19 points is a crisis for one club, but perfectly OK for another (especially the 19th point).
The iconic Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg has been open over 9 years, but tonight we're attending our first concert there. Brahms: A German Requiem (coincidently simultaneous with the HSV-Bayern match across town).
