Nomad is fun because there’s tons of goofy fun effects that can hide how bad you are at sculpting

I only like dark roast because I’ve always enjoyed bitter things that taste like they’re on the border of poisoning me for some reason.

I feel like I should be wearing a hardhat while operating this

I know I’m supposed to be creating art during all of this bullshit, but it’s hard when the disassociation hasn’t lifted in months.

Thank you! The original owner did the black metallic paint, ragtop pano roof, and B20 swap back in the 80’s, but I did the rest (including a rebuild on the engine because it sat for 20 years, lol)

RC therapy is really doing it for me lately.

Doodad update: V2 of the wheel/tire design fits like a glove. So stoked to start on aero next!

Keep an eye out for used resin printers! I found an almost unused Mars 3 Pro for my second printer at only $80 with a bunch of extra stuff. They’re so good for RC parts.

I haven’t, mainly because hard resin would chip too easily, and I’m assuming anything softer than what I used would wear out fast. I might try Nylon-like resin to see if it feels any different than the ABS-like.

The traction profile from the ABS resin that I printed the tires in is amazing. Really good grip on polished concrete, hoping to try it out on some p-tile soon

I haven’t owned a Traxxas in probably 15 years, so it’s cool to see the extra attention they put into the engineering these days. So far I’ve only some wheels since it’s hard to find small ones that fit over the 4Tec’s brakes/knuckles. Designed some Hayashi Bombers for the first set

4TEC 2.0 Drift, friend of mine gifted it to me after winning it in a raffle! I’m used to lightweight Yokomo chassis, but the extra weight of this one makes it surprisingly fun. Been developing some parts for it since the aftermarket hasn’t done much yet
