With Stocky going away in August, its left a gap & a lot of worries for merchants.
We now support Stock Takes (Inventory Counts), Transfers, Replenishments & now Purchase Orders.

If Shopify added support via Partner dashboard for apps it would be incredible powerful. Merchants could better trust the emails they get from app devs, key messages for upgrading or problems would get through rather than unseen & would unify the experience further for merchants
10) Support
This is a biggie, right now Shopify is pushing for native development deeply integrating apps into the Admin and other surfaces.
But app support is still a wildwest for merchants, some chat, some email, emails come from devs which the merchant won't know.
9) Usage Based Managed Pricing
Managed pricing came out quite a long time ago now in Shopify Dev time anyway. But it has gone quite quiet on when it will support usage based pricing and would make it easier for apps to help merchants only pay for what they use
8) Filterable GraphQL Counts
Some entities like products can have counts with a filter applied, but its very inconsistent and sometimes doesn't work.
This would save so much querying and downloading of data if simple count aggregations with filters worked

7) Metafield filtering
This is really powerful on products, I'd love to see it roll out to other entities, such as draft orders to be able to better integrate and work with them. Speeding up app and merchant workflows

6) Shopify search my app
With the Sidekick integration coming, I'd love for the global Shopify search bar to also be able to search the installed apps for functionality and documentation. It would really help merchants quickly find what they need.
5) Create views for merchants
Love building Shopify natively, but would love an API to create a view across products / inventory etc for a merchant so you could display specific information for a staffs / app specific workflows.
Maybe with merchants having to approve
4) POS Push Notifications and Sound
Right now apps can send in POS toast notifications, but for more critical actions and feedback adding the ability to send real mobile push notifications and play sounds would really help retailers managing their tasks and staff
3) Stabilising Preact Web Components.
I love the move to web components & preact. But the feature parity across Web & POS for example isn't great right now, leading to delaying upgrading.
Likewise the more complex components seem to have quite a few bugs
2) Inventory in Shopify functions
Would love for inventory information to be available in Shopify Functions, would be able to make smarter discounting logic, better order routing.
Would be a big improvement for multi location and physical retailers
1) Managing Inventory states as an app, just doesn't display correctly in Shopify Admin. All the inventory states an app might set get rolled up into managed by so v unclear for merchants

PML Stock Take (Inventory Count) settings page, displaying support information, a list of extensions or tiles which have been added to Shopify POS and further permission settings.
Very excited for Shopify POS Extensions to be supported by App Bridge. Can now check if a merchant has our POS Extensions setup! 💚

Shopify announced the deprecation of Stocky this week, with some features moving to Shopify Admin.
This is a big change for a lot of retailers, we are here to help fill the gap & help retailers keep on top of their stock management.

10. Better examples
Cloudflare have lots of example repositories but they tend to be isolated examples of one thing.
I'd love to see more complete apps and architecture examples, e.g; multiple workers in the same repository, durable object with notifications etc
9. Durable Objects Operational Guide
Durable objects is a pretty new thing to get your head around, v powerful & I know Cloudflare used internally.
There isnt much guidance on using them operationally for an app e.g; what to do when storage gets full, access locally for debugging
8. Service Dashboard
Right now there are metrics and graphs across the Cloudflare UI and you can save queries for later.
But being able to consolidate all the Cloudflare pieces you are using onto a dashboard so you can check the overall status of everything would be incredible
7. Alerts
Following on there are amazing metrics and logging in Cloudflare now, but I'd love alerts to be able to notify me when something could be wrong or needs looking into. Some examples; error logs over threshold, workflows failed, database latency etc
6. Observability improvements
Firstly this has come on leaps and bounds from last year, but there's still incorrectly reported errors which I see, making it difficult to find the right information.
Searching logs and events is amazing however
5. Database change feed
Being able to react to changes in your database information, similar to what is currently possible with R2 to Cloudflare Queues, would again enable a more event drive architecture and reduce load on databases
4. Event gateway
Cloudflare has workers, queues and workflows. But for me its missing an event gateway, similar to AWS Eventbridge, Hookdeck etc.
Being able to filter events, push to multiple workers and destinations would be really powerful
3. Restart workflows
Currently if a workflow fails you have to ensure you can restart it from the beginning, being able to do this but from where it failed would be a really good quality of life improvement
2. Increased Workflow memory and cpu limits.
Currently workflows work really well, but dealing with larger datasets is tricky as you have to trade off splitting the data and increasing cpu or loading more into memory.
