I'm also proficient at making shaders as shown in my Shotgun project! I like doing geometry nodes and other node based stuff as well.
My favourite level design and environment art resource and the best website on the internet is still noclip.website
image demonstrating rules about axes, handedness, and direction of rotation in 3D space, where you can use your thumb as the axis, and the curl of your fingers as the positive rotation direction
handedness can be a little hard to wrap your head around - it's a very elusive concept as it's mostly perceptual/visual rather than being a property of the numbers/math itself
notably though, you can use it to figure out positive rotation directions, given an arbitrary axis!
It's here! My 3d rendition of @axiominus.bsky.social's Mesmerize Sword from Swordtember! βπ
Artstation link below for higher quality renders and Marmoset Viewer!
Going to repost slowly my art here !
So here's my lastest finished artwork : Fig House β¨

colorful key splash art for Project Dragon- a group of adventurers (a musical ocarina golem, a rider mounted on a wyvern, a dimunutive cat person and a pet pinoceros) crest a hill over a sun-drenched landscape with billowing clouds and distant ruins. In the sky above, a character composed of constellations spreads their 6 arms and welcomes them to the world.
Just before things started to nosedive on twitter, I posted a thread that walked through the massive body of work I did over the last three years (on an inspiring team) on the cancelled Project Dragon aka Everhaven.
For posterity I reckon I'll repost that thread, piece by piece, over here β¨
We out here hand painting some normals
Super cool sculpt :D
Hey, I'm Aymane. I just started my character prop artist journey. I try to work on some personal projects on the side. Here is one Iβm working on currently. It's still a wip, so yeah. Hope you like it.π

Had a bit of time this weekend, here's a small WIP tileable based on a wall I see everyday.
Updated version of the pixel art forest scene, it shows a small house with a red roof nestled at the base of a cliff, with little ducks in the front patio. A large amount of foliage is growing around it. A huge tree trunk rests between two cliffs, and late afternoon sun is filtering in from the distant trees.
Itβs been 84 years since I started this bloody image. I really want to finish by the end of the year. #pixelart #artpost #wip
"Classical art is boring because it only seeks to represent reality."
Classical art:
An Arathor keyflame, a hand-painted prop from World of Warcraft: The War Within. A warm yellow crystal, cracked and faceted but still glowing, is held aloft by curved metal brackets over a circular well. A golden metal sun caps the top of the well, where priests would place glowing crystal fragments to keep the crystal's light shining.
An Arathor book, a hand-painted prop from World of Warcraft: The War Within. This is a massive book, taller than a man, with heavy golden brackets on its corners and a large yellow crystal set into the cover. The book stands at an angle against a large metal frame atop a circular pedastal, with marble steps leading up to it. The book is open to a page with a detailed illustration depicting a fleet of airships flying across an unknown ocean, and elegant runes in the Arathi language describing their voyage.
A scenic view of Hallowfall, a location from World of Warcraft: The War Within. A tower with a large, yellow crystal overlooks a massive cavern, with Arathi settlements and airships dotting the landscape. A priory sits at the peak of the tallest cliff, facing an unbelievably huge crystal erupting from the ceiling of this cavern. The crystal glows like the sun and bathes everything it touches in radiant golden light.
The Priory of the Sacred Flame, a dungeon from World of Warcraft: The War Within. High stone walls flank a circular stained glass window. The center of the window is open to the outside, and provides a view of a massive yellow crystal jutting from the ceiling of the Hallowfall cavern.
Hey friends, Peter here! I'm a Prop Artist on World of Warcraft and have a love of rocks, books, and hand-painted art.
