Squenix only recently decided to go all in on multiplatform, so that's why the previous games were like that. KH was especially screwed since Epic helped some with moving to Unreal Engine and got a 3 years exclusivity deal for 1.5+2.5, 2.8, and 3 on EGS.
Which was then outsold on Steam after a week
FF7R isn't made by a 1st Party studio, it'll still be multiplatform. Its only Sony 1st party games that won't be on PC such as Insomniac's Marvel's Wolverine, Spider-Man 3, any future God of War, Ghost of Yotei, etc.
3rd party publishers like Square Enix will be unaffected.
Service has been restored to all communities. We're truly sorry that service has been unstable for the past few days but it's just two of us trying our best. If you have any unavailable communities in your sidebar, you should be able to restart your client to see them. π
Hey all, we see your reports about the NSFW filter being too sensitive, we're working on a fix, however - we're still working on getting the platform stable first.
We're still in the process of working on the migration, but we've flipped over all of the infrastructure to the new stuff now! We're working on some bugs still, but we should still be on track for 10 AM UTC on Saturday. π₯
And having PokΓ©mon Conquest and not like, PokΓ©mon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
For me the middle stage needs to bridge between quadrepedal and bipedal. If the middle evolution is a good in-between (like in Fennekin's line) then I'm down. I only get annoyed when the final evolution seems to come out of left field

The logo of the "Keep Android Open" campaign is an Android robot dressed as Darth Vader. Across the top it says "I AM ALTERING THE DEAL" in all caps, and below the robot it says "Pray I don't alter it further". This is a reference to how Android acquired a massive catalog of apps be making access open to the platform back in the day, and Google assuring it would remain open, as opposed to the iOS platform which was (and still is) very restricted. And, of course, Star Wars.
KDE supports the "Keep Android Open" campaign
#Google will cut off independent developers to #Android if they do not register with Google first. This will kill independent platforms like @fdroidorg.bsky.social and severely impede FLOSS devs from creating apps for Android.

We're going to be limiting access to the app with a descriptive message while we work on finishing up the migration because the issues are taking up resources from the extremely limited number of people working on the migration. See you all soon!
The maintenance is still underway, however preliminary testing with the new infrastructure has been well! We hope to be fully online again with a little treat for everyone soon. π

Sword!
They legally can't remive it from the UK or Australlia, but having significantly less invasive options is needed.
The issue I have is they STILL have not canceled the worldwide roll out, only delayed it. It should not be required in places where there isn't a legal requirement
Wait, I do that too...
Esports were a mistake
We gotta go back to holding gaming tournaments in the middle of some fuckass pizza restaurant in the middle of nowhere
sorta low-key announcement but i do want to throw out there that i am open for voice-acting projects if you guys have anything you wanna work on!!!

It's literally the "we are still doing it but now we would like you to be less mad about it." post. After 3 backdowns that didn't even back down they pull out another BIG puppy eyed SUPER sorry backdown that ALSO doesn't back down.
No. You've fuckied your last wucky, UwU.

If you've been thinking of starting a homelab server, do it now, before it's too late, seriously.
A full YEAR worth of my self hosting experience.
Crammed into one 30 min video going over EVERYTHING.
What to buy, what software to get, how to get everything online, etc. Coming out TOMORROW. :)
long as the community stays involved. The more people get into contributing, the less and less likely of the platform going back on their word. Nothing is gonna be perfect, but an open platform solves more of the issues than staying on platform that proves over and over money matters more than users
I'm just trying to show there is an option to break the cycle of proprietary platforms starting up for free, nedding to suddenly make a profit, and then enshittifiying the platform until users leave. Closed platforms will turn you into the product if they can't make enough money, open ones can't so
Discord claims their age estimation & ID check techniques are privacy preserving so cyber-security experts put these claims to the test, revealing some unsettling but predictable vulnerabilities.

No one is saying you need to, all you need is to join someone else's self host server. For example I'll be hosting one myself for all of my friends once the back end refactor is finished, and none of them need to know anything about it.
Its the same idea as being able to self host game servers
They would still need to have the pull request reviewed, approved, and merged to have that happen. And even if it did, the community can fork the code and make a new client that removes it again. Community owned code is THE best defense against malicious contributors
Fluxer's free version is about the same as Discord's, and I've only used the free version of Discord.
Also if you self host, you get all the features of the paid version for free
Open source alternatives are the only viable solution. Public code allows other developers to fix any mistakes or bad steps in the program and self hosting keeps it so no company controls the functionality.
Best looking to me ATM is Fluxer
I will never get over that name, 10/10 no notes π
I... Think so? I'm pretty sure that's now VSeeFace grabs tracking from OpenSeeFace when running on the same machine, and VSF calls that local network
The only other idea I can think of is to try to send it over like local network instead of directly to VNyan. Maybe via VMC protocol over UDP?? (I'm honestly grasping at straws)
