I'm wanting to play it due to nostalgia and being able to access it again would be really fun and cool. If there's no way you know of, that is unfortunate but I understand. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

@cliffharris.bsky.social Hello, I wanted to reach out and ask about a game you made back in 2006 called Kudos. I see that the second game is available on Steam, but seems quite different stylistically and I was curious if there is any way to still get access to the first game?
Thank you π₯Ή
Hey bsky
Been a while
Iβm only a couple weeks away from moving to MN
I am currently obsessing over immutable Linux distros and learning how rpm-ostree for Fedora Silverblue works
Just figured Iβd pop in and share updates
Itβs so interesting that an outlet that encourages its writers to speak truth to power is flourishing in a media industry where everything else seems to be in decline. I want that to be a lesson to people. Kowtowing to powerβif your job is not that, nobody fucking wants that. It does nothing for you to pull a punch at this moment. You have to be able to stand up for a baseline of humanity. Thatβs what we do here. And Iβm glad to tell you that they never blinked. They never thought twice about it. They just always were like, βAll right, well, letβs keep doing what we do here.β
People keep asking why The Onion is doing well right now, and it's simply because we just refuse to kowtow. I cannot stress enough how good it is for your business and your soul be strong and even fun in the face of the ongoing horror and bullshit.

Pssst @syphist.bsky.social
I love you
I recently started making myself read more regularly again. 5 minutes a day, minimum. Started with the 50th Anniversary of LOTR. Excited to see where this goes with my desire to read, as it used to be my favorite activity.

other people for simply using the platforms that they enjoy for various reasons. Even if you can't understand why they enjoy them, they have reasons. I'm just... sick of the divisive nature of internet culture. Just let people enjoy shit.
If we continue to search for a "perfect" social media, we're going to wind up with sanitized social media that isn't built for anyone but those profiting off of it. We've already seen that happen with several platforms, and it sucks. Criticize moderation issues when they happen, but don't shit on
There's things I can get on bsky that I can't get on fedi. There's things I can get on fedi that I can't get on bsky. Both platforms have absolutely massive moderation flaws, and absolute fuckups on a regular basis. No platform is perfect. No platform **can** be perfect.
Yes, I'm contributing to this problem in a roundabout way by complaining about it. But not in the sense of "I'm going to shit on platform x because I prefer platform y", more in the sense of "Why can't we use multiple platforms, recognize their flaws, and still enjoy them?"
I wish it was possible to exist on social media without seeing people constantly shitting on other social media
I thought I'd get away from that when I moved away from big social media a few years back, but it honestly just permeates all social media. Independent network or not, people love strife.

It will fully depend on if I actually start getting sleep soon or not, but I am heavily HEAVILY considering doing a stream this weekend. Probably just 1-2 hours of Balatro. I don't really expect many people, but I miss streaming.
This account isn't very old so this is a limited data set but tbh it tracks with my current hyperfixations
Aw Kat I wish I had some money to help you get a new razor and something nice to treat yourself :( I'm so sorry π«
I've got all of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games set up and running on Linux, including Anomaly, as well as setting up a few GOG games in Heroic Launcher so that they have multiplayer integrations enabled, and overall I'm just having a good time being back on Linux. It's really come a LONG way.
This is unhinged and I fucking love it
I'm confused about cybersecurity accounts following me and adding me to lists but I guess that's where I'm at
Kinda funny considering I left my college without my Digital Forensics degree
I've already attempted to use VirtualBox to run this game and it just crashes to desktop, even with Guest Additions installed, 3D Acceleration enabled and the RAM set to 256MB
Unfortunately, VMs don't seem to be a foolproof solution unless you wanna do GPU Passthrough. Which, I consider.
All that said, Sonic x Shadow Generations runs beautifully on Nobara even with a 3070ti under Wayland so I am definitely impressed with the progress that has been made since 2018-2019 when I switched back to Windows
I tried through Oracle's VirtualBox but it just crashes to desktop, I may try VMWare later on as I know it has better support for 3D applications. There's probably a workaround that I can find for this situation, absolutely, but with 1TB SSDs beign so cheap I honestly will likely grab one.
That said, having a Windows install on say a 1TB SSD that only has a few retro games, a few VR games and maybe some stuff like Fortnite installed doesn't seem as bad as running Windows as my daily driver.
