So of course that encounter straight up broke the entire setup of the movie.
That documentary searching for sugarman got spoiled for me in a really wild way. I’m waiting in line at Sundance hoping for a standby ticket and this dude walks up and says “hey you’re seeing the movie?? It’s about me! Isn’t that cool??? I’m the sugarman!!!” and sure enough it was really him.

Discovered that a lot of these performance problems are exclusive to game mode and aren't present when launching via desktop. This is what I'm talking about. How do you explain that to a regular person?
