Today I made my Bigscreen Beyond inside out tracked with a SLAM tracker! Full 6dof tracking, and it only added ~16g of weight!
We do this because many people wire it wrong (me too!) these are typical steps to check to see if the issue is something non hardware related (simple mistake). And the “excuse” of bad foam is me figuring out what went wrong, which I told you for transparency. We are fixing your kit free of charge.
We fix all issues that customers have at our own expense which is motivation to improve our systems. I am human, mistakes happen, and I work to fix them and work to prevent them in the future. Your out lashing does not help anyone.
We are constantly improving our QC checks and systems as issues arise, this is an incident that we have learned from and will be improving our systems to catch in the future. Please remember we are not a large company, things are annoying for us too (costs us money!)
I am a small company, just me, that has a life. All delays are updated on the website and discord in advance so people are aware. If you have constructive feedback please let me know, but continually bugging me does not help us solve this issue.
Hello, what could we do better? We are working with you to get a replacement, free of charge as we would do with all customers in the event of an issue. “A bunch of people” is 3 out of many more orders due to a packaging fault. All customers are getting free replacements.
