Context: A Black NPC character named “Kapil” with a quest where he eats a mushroom and goes “dizzy” but the “dizzy” is imitating a monkey with sounds

The dev team changed the animation and posted an apology but deleting comments calling them out, this game should not be supported + their AI use ‼️

So if the gen AI usage wasn’t bad enough, I just saw a video where Heartopia has a cutscene of one of their darker skinned NPCs hopping around and making monkey noises??? What the fuck is wrong with these devs???! Absolute 🗑️ game.

The dev team have been remove comments on their social media accounts when people call them out so thank goodness steam comments have awareness it’s so horrible
