Grafana Agent is classified as a distribution of the otel collector so there’s a ton of overlap. But we have some additions for scaling out push based telemetry (clustering) and making it easier to share pipelines (modules)
Definitely. We’ll be putting a more heavy focus on documentation within the next few months (and you’ll start seeing a lot more Flow mode documentation in general around Grafana Cloud soon too, specifically within the connections page)
Kubernetes wasn’t our main intent, but given how increasingly ubiquitous it is there’s probably been more effort put into building out that use case. It’s a tool that I want to be useful in all environments, though
