Andrew Scheer Subtle, but important, media bias: Carney has stated multiple positions on the attacks on Iran. His answers have been rambling and contradictory. Yet CTV says that “Conservatives accuse…” Why not say “Carney flip flops on Iran” instead? Because that would make the focus of the headline the negative thing that Carney did. By phrasing it this way, the focus is the reaction of Conservatives. It is a subtle shift in attention. It also makes the negative thing the Liberal did more open to subjectivity. It’s just one of the dozens of ways the Parliamentary press gallery helps shield the Liberal government that subsidizes them with your tax dollars. Canada and Alberta reach agreement-in-principle to accelerate the construction of major projects in Alberta March 6, 2026 Ottawa, Ontario The world is changing rapidly.
