I had the honor of reading an ARC of this book and had so much fun doing so! I love a great creature feature and It Came From The Flower Shop Down Under is exactly that. It is packed with fun characters, humor, and a very cool creature that gave me the creeps.

I didn't know I needed coalpunk folk horror until this moment. That sounds life-alteringly good.

#HorrorWritersChat definitely artificial intelligence. Killer robots, the Grid deciding humanity must be eliminated, a whole Matrix situation happening... it's telling that Stanley Kubrick's last film (which Stephen Spielberg finished for him after he died) was a borderline horror film called "A.I."

I don't think a lot can beat the static of an old television set or a radio that is stuck between stations/dimensions. I tend to lean towards those older elements because they can act up in especially unnerving ways.
