Areas of fog continue to develop across the CSRA and Midlands. Patchy dense fog with visibilities of less than one mile are also being observed. Visibility may decrease suddenly and over short distances due to the patchy nature of the denser fog. Motorists traveling on area roadways should use extra caution. If you encounter fog, slow down, increase following distance, and turn on your low-beam headlights. This fog should begin to improve by mid morning.
