Moose too loose and scrambly in the D zone which gives the Canucks a shot to add to their lead which is just what they do.
Lead now 3-1 for the home team.
Samuel Fagemo with an excellent chance to tie the game but a great stop by Ty Young.
Quite the tilt in Abbotsford as Tyson Empey unloads in this one.
Manitoba gets one back in the middle frame as captain Mason Shaw gets his 15th of the season.
That ties him for the team lead for goals.
A rare road PK goal against the Moose as the Canucks made it 2-0 on this one.
Surprised this didn’t get called back for goalie interference.
But that’s how the shutout streak for Thomas Milic came to an end after two games in the 1st period.
This might be the most disconnected Moose power play of the season.
Which means they’ll likely score but Dear Mama.
Spoiler Alert: they did not.

Jets assistant coach Marty Johnston gave his assessment of Isak Rosén and Jacob Bryson after having seen them play a couple of games for Winnipeg.
Rosén - mentioned skating ability, shot, his pace of play.
Bryson - good skater, moves puck well

I suspect it starts with roster construction philosophy. They got slower and the system they implement doesn’t really give them a way to play that style but at a slower pace.
And all the injuries definitely took a toll.

Isaak Phillips is hot scoring his fourth goal in the last eight games for the Moose (7th of season) as he put the cherry on top making it 4-0.

It appears AHL club of Manitoba (unlike their parent club) made adjustment in the 1st intermission.
Turned being outshot 11-3 but 0-0 after 20 to 16-13 and 4-0 for them with 5 to go.
The Jets get outclassed by the Ducks losing 4-1 and being outshot 34-13.

Not saying the farm team is emulating their parent club but Moose started game being outshot 9-1 by the Canucks.
Abbotsford has had two power plays this period.

Jets getting outshot 20-5 in the 2nd period is not ideal.
Also being outscored 3-1 in that period is also not optimal.

Three goals in just under two minutes have swung this game solidly in the Ducks favour.
Two goals in 14 seconds for the Ducks just 1:20 after the Jets opened the scoring here in the 2nd has dampened the mood here at CLC.
