I definitely feel that concern…maybe we could even say 2006 was the warning and we did not learn so the real impact is coming.
Getting ready for convention season a little early and covering the next few preparations all at once. There will be too little time between events to provide major updates between them all. Time to dive back into footage capture mode to get stuff ready.

We need to get you a bigger megaphone. So many keep hearing the mantra that lore is not important and have believed it and taken it to heart. We both know it isn't true and we have seen those who shortcut and trim around it pay big prices.
Yeah, you've already hit a lot of very crucial points that are needed in the genre. It will be fun to dive in and not trying to force a game to fit an engine.

That is a lot. If it wasn't right before convention season, I would have tried to wiggle it into my schedule but I have the following 3 weekends after it is over with major conventions each weekend.

I recall it took way longer than expected and had many rounds of going back and forth to get things just right, filling out all of the content, achievements, leaderboards, etc.
Yeah, they should already be doing QA and preparing marketing at this point. Not at a state of not having started production yet.

The big silver lining is that younger generations in the US have been transitioning away from such entertainment. There are some who only watch content creator content exclusively and growing. That keeps them outside of the reaches of such bubbles...but you are right that it will still be dire.
Getting a big chunk of art content done this week. Putting some things I wanted to work on behind schedule but can only do so much at a time and at this small of a size, it's just part of the pill swallowed. At least it should give a big visual for people to talk about in a mode overdue for sharing
and to further hit on it, the long combos (especially in team VS fighting games) are particularly similar to what is hurting certain TCGs. Long period where one player is stuck just watching with limited/no options until can play again. I know you've talked a few times on long supers before, too.
