I spend my days working for wildlife so I adore this question! For my writing I tend toward the tentacled and I also have a great fondness for snails. Had no idea so many folks are freaked out by them.
For horror in general, crows. Super smart, super cool, friend or foe. 🐦‍⬛

A photo of two prints of ink drawings by @warpsol - a robot with a plant and what looks like a paper bag for a head but it’s metal, and a robot won’t s cup of coffee. Both are gazing at these objects, and I love how mechanical they are with all kinds of bits and bobs and somehow, they look curious.

Prints are a great way to support human artists- I was able to get a few from @warpsol.bsky.social and I love them- Coffee Bot and Plant Bot are the only bots I’m interested in!
