If Zendesk's emails became undeliverable, perhaps they would actually deal with the spam problem.

Feel like I'm going crazy here. Didn't the government just spend a bunch of political capital passing an unpopular, overreaching Online Safety Act so that they could censor the internet?

And now X is deliberately mass producing abuse content and they are going to do... nothing?

I am extremely confused as to why the UK government and police are saying Grok’s mass-scale CSAM generation is an issue for Ofcom.

This isn’t about X failing to moderate CSAM, which is an Online Safety Act issue. It is about the company and its technology being actively involved in its generation.

Just three weeks ago I went to a jazz gig at the beautiful Vondelkerk.

Now it's been destroyed by careless idiots with fireworks. Infuriating.

I recently wrote some thoughts on wrapping Rust libraries for Wasm plus a couple patterns that I use to make wasm-bindgen feel a bit more manageable. No silver bullets here but maybe some sensible defaults (fight me in the comments πŸ˜›) notes.brooklynzelenka.com/Blog/Notes-o...

Do you think employees do this because it's useful in some way? Or because CloudKitchens' business model basically centres around deceiving consumers, and this is a good way to avoid backlash?

I'm not sure that listing the feature 'direct access to emergency exit' sends quite the right message here.

Back when I was living in Bristol it was barely conceivable that one day through traffic might be removed from Park Street. And, on top of that, real segregated cycling facilities through the Triangle!

Drivers nearly killed or injured me many, many times on […]

They've built a new two lane(!) road to access one electricity pylon. Of course the cycle lane gives up entirely to accommodate this and cyclists have to give way to the any vehicle that might be using it to carry out maintenance on this pylon

Pitfalls of wasm-bindgen, part 2: vec parameters ⌁ Ross Gardiner The personal site of Ross Gardiner

Being able to use Rust in the browser is great, but it comes with some sharp corners. One such corner is passing arrays of Rust objects into Rust code.

In this post I look at some options and the tradeoffs that come with each.
