Have been in hospital w/ Guillain-Barré syndrome for 3 weeks with probably another 2 or so go before I can walk again (with a frame initially!)
Full recovery expected, just learning to walk all over again..

Modern world is so great. But also, do I really need to get THIRTEEN emails, 4 SMS and 4 Push notifications from 4 different platforms about coffee/dog food/etc subscriptions? Just non stop.
Packs are a great way to follow a bunch of random people and spend weeks slowly unfollowing 🫠
Deeply miss old twitter. I love that in those early years there were meetups of like 20-50 people and that was a majority of users for like all of Sydney. We all knew each other. Now twitter is just like a train station, full of crazies

I had to fire back up my old .com account from 2006 this week. The latest default theme in white and no UI is about as minimalist as I can get 😂
My take on the #wpdrama and the idea of replacing @ma.tt are not in WordPress’ overall best interest. Maybe some more clarity and people can come to peace with the status quo..

It did reenforce to me just how far ahead WordPress is in market as the leading open source CMS and how fortunate we are to push WordPress to new limits over and over again at TCC
Just got back from Singapore for DrupalCon Asia. Not because I've given up on #WordPress but I genuinely wanted to learn a bit more about how that project is going and whats ahead.
