I’d advise having a look at codecks, absolutely fantastic for managing what to do and there’s a plugin you can get for UE5 to update and manage them directly from the engine or even in game. Very helpful :D i found it through @codecks.bsky.social definitely worth checking out

I’ve noticed this too, pretty certain it’s the recent dependency on DLSS, switched it off in Oblivion and instantly so much nicer. At the cost of frames of course

So I’ve been on Maya for years, thought it was incredible. Over the last few days I’ve pushed myself to learn Blender and it’s so damn fast and easy in comparison. Once you get past the layout / UI it’s amazing. Can’t believe I’ve slept on this for so long #b3d #3dart

Might I suggest adding a variation in flowers / grass, with the mix of trees and rocks it really breaks the environment up, but I feel like the grass needs more diversity :)

UI/HUD stuff is honestly the hardest part so far. Making it look nice, fit the game’s vibe, and still work well on both PC and Steam Deck… it’s rough. If anyone has any great resources / advice for a non UX/UI dev, please let me know! It’s appreciated! #gamedev #indiedev #UX
