First month on the house boat, 5 leaks in the heating fixed, wood burner fixed, 1 window resealed (4 more to clean up and re-seal) rib muscles torn, days in pain. Zero writing done. But it’s getting there. House boat is becoming a Home boat.
It’s been nearly 3 weeks since I moved on to my house boat. It’s been hard work, the wrong season for this huge change, but slowly I’m getting used to it. Once my wood burner is working I can see myself being comfortable enough to sneak writing back in to my routine.
Wow, I’ve been quiet on here. On a writing hiatus while I get settled in to living in a house boat. Expect nerdy, fantasy writing posts and frustrated rants about electrical systems on boats.
