That photo makes me feel a bit sick. And Iβm not even a footie fan.
I love this film. Used to be on telly twice a week when I was a kid, and it popped up again recently for the first time in years and is still fantastic. Really funny, creative, imaginative, OTT, and stuffed full of star turns with twinkles in their eye.
A properly thrilling series
The end of the second episode is so melodramatic, thrilling, terrifying, shocking, devastating. Itβs my fave series of all time and I love that itβs getting a rerun. As you say: poor George. Also: poor Ruth.

Iβve just seen SoaWA for the first time and it blew me away. Kim Stanley is absolutely furious and intense. New fave film!
There are many more far worse books out there than Pricking
I didnβt know Agatha liked it! It put me in mind of Hitchcock a few times. V impressed by it !
Iβm a bit taken aback by it. Itβs really powerful. Mark Eden and Nanette Newman v good in smaller roles. Would like to know your thoughts when you see it
Via good old @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social Iβve just watched Seance on a Wet Afternoon. Really tense, a great score, nice shots of 60s London. I donβt know Kim Stanley but sheβs acting her socks off here. Very sinister and creepy. Recommended!

Iranian state media announces that new Supreme Leader has been chosen, but does not disclose name.
It amazes me how people seem to have forgotten the disaster of Iraq . Iβm glad the Prime Minister hasnβt.
I havenβt seen it in years and have a real problem with Sawardβs time on the show and the direction he took it. But maybe I might give it a spin once again now.
Amazing.
This is my fave Hitchcock film.
It had never crossed my mind that Billy Walkerβs name is actually William
Madame Chimp has done you proud
Itβs such a great show
Sheβs a gob on a stick. Little else.
Sheβs as tiresome in Xrds as in real life
Love this
Magnificent in a Miss Marple
Youβre forgetting Glendaβs brother, the gloomy Ron. Shagged his narky teenage cousin then went off to an oil rig.
Kath would be a lovely mum and I bet she gave great hugs. Sheβs so warm and caring.
From some angles, she looks like a dead heat in a zeppelin race.
Sid and Sharon are a great pairing
Barbaraβs jaw literally drops
Valerie may have gone too far
Oliver bears his soul to Kath

I still have Kinda. Iβve kept most of the sleeves but the rest have gone. Shada propped up a sash window in my last house. Wish I had kept em all really, but got to be practical.
One of the annoyances of Howards Way was the endless blather about who has a controlling interest in this company or the majority shareholding in that company. Obvs there were other annoyances, but that was the most annoying annoyance.
Suits droning on about shares. Urgh.
