Such an intimate gig with @brightlightx2.bsky.social on his home town, packed with family and friends. A privilege to be at such a personal event. Proud of his home town and proudly Welsh, and so many if his sings are absolute bangers!

One of my comfort DW stories. I watched it last week and itβs still such a treat.

I quite Unite after an outrageous stitch up at my local branch in favour of that arsehole McClusky. Howβs the Unite Hotel finance inquiry coming along? Awful horrible bullies.
A fair swap

In my time as a local Labour activist, Iβve noticed the old guard of βgentleman Conservativesβ has died out and has been replaced by charmless loudmouths. This applies at a local level and a national level.
A bad parliamentary opposition just opposes everything, nothing positive or constructive, no engagement. They talk about their own agenda not the public agenda, stuff they find easy to talk about within their own comfort zone, getting applause from their own members. Badenochβs lot are so bad.
Ghastly
One of my top five albums of all time:
Poor Sinead. I hope she found peace.
Watched it last week and itβs still fab
I love Liza (but donβt listen to R2 much).
Hope sheβs well and happy.

To be honest, in that situation I always think itβs far easier and less stressful to write off my life savings and abandon the bank account entirely
Those mid Pertwee six parters are agonising.
Fishy Arlene! Somehow managed to escape the fraud accusations.

I think I was 12 at the time and I found it a weird mix of sinister and hilarious. Still do, actually. Itβs quite brutal and v camp. Puts me in mind of those βhagsploitationβ films, and of Brenda Bruce in The Mad Death. Pretty unique in DW.
Thereβs a real Nightingales aesthetic about Paradise Towers. Or vice versa

SIGNED!
Today has been a bag of wank in many ways, but this arrival by post is a definite boon
The distribution of letters in English words.
That photo makes me feel a bit sick. And Iβm not even a footie fan.
I love this film. Used to be on telly twice a week when I was a kid, and it popped up again recently for the first time in years and is still fantastic. Really funny, creative, imaginative, OTT, and stuffed full of star turns with twinkles in their eye.
A properly thrilling series
