I think the lack of amended laws to regulate this isn't really about the culture of trading cards so much as a general lack of motivation to regulate any corporations in USA

Legally courts keep shooting down trading card lawsuits because the "official" purchase is X dollars for X dollars' worth of cards. Any profit happens on unofficial secondary markets, so the card seller cannot be blamed. Valve is being targeted because the seller market is Valve's official market
if you think $225 million on furniture is wasteful, wait til you hear about the $90 billion spent on bombing children abroad
I've forever wanted to combine the two by making flash cards containing ALL the vocab for a show. But it would take hours stepping through a show just to make the flash cards for it
impressive, this is what separates the farmer from the farmest

sobbing tears of frustrated determination like a mid-arc anime protagonist every time i lose at video games
loyal means "if we cut your pay, will you quit immediately or will you stick around so we can lay you off the following year?"
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
wow, memory unlocked, i used to play this all the time! i was like 4 so the cut-scenes felt like an R-rated movie to me
pro: i no longer feel bummed about being short because even my tallest friends cannot reach this shelf
con: not sure where i will park the boom lift when i am not using it to reach my crock-pot
This kitchen has so much storage space! And since the cabinets are 10ft in the air, it's especially good for anyone who wants to hide their golden goose from humans
i know we've been covered in snow literally all winter and i should be sick of it, but i'm still at the window cackling yes YES
gamer fact: no one knows what the "f" in Silent Hill F(ox) stands for
wahh lots of good stuff O: indian fairy tales weren't even on my radar, i am taking notes
i googled ox beetle and this is definitely it! very cool little guy O:
for dense greens like bok choy, cabbage, or brussel sprouts, you just shred them and let them marinate in the dressing to tenderize. they're lowkey way tastier and more nutritious, but they won't give you that crisp fluffy salad experience you're probably craving
those are huge, are they cicadas?
hm hm but do you have a favorite mythology??
with enough hard work I know you'll get there ๐๐

i am the foremost expert when it comes to ghost blues
thanks for sharing! i started playing with strudel after your last post, and these little tricks definitely help get the creativity flowing
ohh I see! but I see what you mean about it being general, it's more like a PSA than a vaguepost, and also you're 100% correct ^-^
but believe it or not, the Sir Arthur example was based on an actual post i saw months ago! I can't remember the actual knight they mentioned so I just picked Galahad, but you make a fair point, literally any other knight would have a juicier vaguepost
noooo I can't remember anything you posted being like this, I promise! I didn't mean to drag any of my beloved oomfs with this ๐ญ
damn that's wild. like i scooped up 400 followers from a game dev starter pack and since they never interact, it feels like they're inactive or don't see my posts at all. but i guess people really be lurking, waiting for a random cat pic
lol no worries, yours was at least topical enough that i could understand it! today alone, i've seen much worse.
but now that you mention it, maybe the discover feed is what everyone is afraid of? i am somehow immune to being discovered on social media so i have little experience with these things
the vagueposting on this site is like... absolutely bonkers, even compared to twitter. like the post will be "all i'm saying is they did him dirty" and the missing context will be the depiction of Sir Galahad in the latest retelling of King Arthur
catch me on discord chilling in the kid-friendly channels
