the more i read the AEG coo fall out the more amazed I am at the lack of self awareness that the COO wrote "People then apply risk capital against those ideas to see if there’s a product market fit." and never once suggesed maybe a LLM could replace his job and his roles and obligations.

Typed this article like the Kermit gif. The longer I thought about it, and then looked at all the promises that adding this tool to systems and processes claims to bring. And it's not "another member of the team". @erioldoesdesign.bsky.social's presentation is highly relevant (link to YT in article)
The pattern keeps repeating - deploy first, secure later, apologise eventually. Guardrails bolted on after the fact aren't guardrails, they're damage control. Security has to be architectural, not aspirational.
Totally, going to have to keep banging the drum about this. Security needs to be on the agenda right at the start of the conversation as a priority. How many more of these incidents need to happen? Not to mention documentation.
