I'm delighted to have been elected as the Conference Convenor for the Scottish Liberal Democrats, as well as a Scottish Rep to Federal Council.
I'm looking forward to working with all committee and Exec members, both old and new, in the coming term.

I am genuinely touched. I'm sad not to have gotten on to FCC directly, but incredibly glad Jennie did, even if she does massively decrease the average height of the committee.

Anyone who has paid attention to Lib Dem internal election results for the Federal Committees will know I missed out in my attempts to get directly elected for Federal Council and FCC.
But WORRY NOT my Scottish Lib Dem Friends! You can still elect me as Scottish Rep to these committees. Vote NOW!

Scottish Lib Dem folks, you should have received an email with your ballot for our internal elections. I am standing for Conference Convenor, FCC Rep, Federal Council rep and a member of Conference Committee.
I would really appreciate your first preference, particularly in the first two.

I'm also very proud to have appeared on the @youngliberalsuk.bsky.social endorsement list, and if elected will do my best to be worthy of getting into the 'platinum elite' category of endorsements for the next cycle.

I'm boosting this post again, as ballots will appear in members' email inboxes shortly.
I am frankly appalled at the decision regards quotas, and have already emailed withdrawing my consent for data use regards 'sex'.

Hard to tell, but I think they are in certain situations.
They are disgusting, though. Wouldn't get that in Scotland.

Vote Fraser Graham For FCC
[Image of Fraser standing in a pride parade wearing a 'trans rights are human rights' tshirt]
Why me?
I have been a member of Federal Conference Committee since 2023. I am also a Vice Convener of the Scottish Lib Dems Conference Committee. I am experienced in chairing debates, scrutinising policy and helping to make our party conferences run smoothly.
My Priorities for Federal Conference Committee:
β’ Accessibility - We need to do better to make our conferences affordable for members, including options for making online participation more interactive and attractive.
β’ Member-Led Policy - I will continue to fight to put membersβ motions forward onto the agenda, and provide more training and support for members to draft good quality policies for submission.
β’ Accountability - Our motion selection process should remain transparent, with clear feedback given on why selection decisions have been made.
β’ Working Hard - I am a very proactive member of FCC, taking on whatever tasks need doing over the conference weekend. I have always been happy to take on the less glamorous tasks to help out our hardworking stewards and staff.
Vote Fraser Graham #1 For Federal Conference Committee
Vote Fraser Graham For FCC
My Record of Action:
Since joining FCC in 2023 as Scottish Representative, I have:
β’ Spoken up during agenda setting meetings to promote member submitted policies and challenge the increasing prevalence of MP submitted motions being taken to conference.
β’ Provided drafting advice to several members to help with their policy proposals, both formally as part of the FCC drafting advice service and informally when approached directly.
β’ Attended every Federal Conference during my tenure on FCC, chairing and aiding debates, staffing the FCC help desk, assisting the stewards, exhibitors and attendees, and providing key input during daily FCC meetings.
β’ Created and delivered an updated training session to members on how to write a conference motion, providing valuable insight into what makes a good conference motion and the common mistakes which are often made.
β’ Consistently stood up for the rights of the diverse membership attending our conferences, raising issues affecting accessibility and voting consistently to protect the well being of our Trans and Non-Binary members attending conference.

Lib Dem Friends!
I'm standing for direct election to the Federal Conference Committee (I'm currently on there as Scottish Rep) and for election to Federal Council.
I still need a few nominations for the latter, if you've got a moment to do so.
Manifesti to follow.

Excellent article. Leadership of all political parties could do with internalising this - yes, even my own. @libdems.org.uk have so far resisted doing this about immigration but they're damn sure doing it with trans people.

Says everything about how this site has deteriorated in the last few months that there are replies to this excited for the series rather than just people saying "fuck Lithgow, he's dead to me now" as is right and proper.

I suspect it's somewhere buried within wiring regs.
There are definitely zones within bathrooms (based on proximity to shower head/taps) within which all electrical have to have a certain level of IP rating for water.

Went to see wicked. I was a bit preturbed at the start when Ariana was doing every note the highest as possible, but actually as it went on I realised that I had clearly underestimated how well cast both she and Cynthia were as Glinda and Elphaba.
Also Jonathan Bailey. Hnnnnngh.
