The problem is not so much "ai" as Ai safety and transparency. This was always going to be a big issue, and everyone in the industry knew it. We also always knew that some startup hungry for investment capital would ditch all safeguards in search of profit. In science etc, Ai is used carefully.
Voice recognition ML's will use LLM's to help resolve language, because it takes a bit of everything. Really good for stuff like translation etc, where 100% accuracy is not required in most cases (since we interpret what others say anyway).

When the lights flash, the car is "harvesting" - ie: charging the battery. This will cause the car to slow down a bit, so you use it in corners and just use the brakes a bit less. If you don't charge enough, you're gonna be slower on the straight.
The car doesn't slow down, it just sounds like it due to the electric motor/battery taking over. It must be a weird sensation for the drivers though.

The thing no-one knows is, what the US's objective was/is. I'm not sure they know themselves. If the US wants to be a rogue state, then other countries need to disassociate from them. The sooner the better (IMHO).
