Hey Riftbounders! TL;DR (more in the thread - 1/11)

1: We're discussing card bans in the near future based on overly-dominant play patterns, but none to announce today, nor an expected date for bans.

The event was so much fun!

A special shout-out to the polish team, who made watching the top 8 in person an absolutely wild experience!

Hey all! We posted new Tournament Rules today (riftbound.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/a...) This post doesn't have a breakdown of what changed - apologies! Something formal will go up soon, but for now, I wanted to highlight the bigger changes. Big thanks to Frank for his work on the TR! (1/5)

Principal UX Writer - Riftbound

Hello friends! My team is hiring - specifically a gameplay text editor (to work on templating, rules, shepherding sets to the final line), or as Riot calls it, a UX Writer. Please read through the job description and apply if it sounds like your jam! www.riotgames.com/en/work-with...

As you all saw, Spiritforged preorders went fast today. We know it was a frustrating experience for a lot of you. Overall, we saw two major issues: first, even with ~50 percent more product than Origins, we still didn’t have enough to meet demand. (1/9)

I personally don't do much highlighting and concealing in the plain text format, because I don't like it when text moves around during editing due to conceals etc. The exception to that are images (only on hover), which I do like, via image.nvim.

Composite image illustrating enzyme inhibition concepts with a black dog in different poses:

Top-left: The dog wears a pink flying disc on its head, labeled “Non-competitive (allosteric) inhibition (E–Inc).”
Center: The dog in a tub, tongue out, labeled “E,” connected to “E–S” (enzyme–substrate).
Top-right: The dog holding a yellow tennis ball, labeled “Competitive inhibition (E–Ic).”
Bottom-center: The dog chewing a blue ball, labeled “Substrate binding.” Arrows and labels show the relationships between each form of the enzyme.

It's important to communicate to the public the importance of basic science. Coco is happy to help explain drug binding mechanisms and enzyme kinetics basics:
